Manchester United midfielder Antonio Valencia has stated that the team is ready to face Manchester City in the preseason game.

Indeed, both Manchester clubs will be opposed in the International Champions Cup which will be held in Beijing China. The tournament will serve as a preseason preparation game.

Antonio Valencia just joined Manchester United after a busy period at the Copa America. The player has been representing his country Ecuador at the Copa America Centenario in the United States during the summer. The team was eliminated in the quarter-finals by the United States team.

Antonio Valencia said that it does not matter whether the game is a friendly one or not. It will be a derby game between two great clubs, and both sets of players will be ready for it. He said that it would be important for them to play well because there will be Manchester United fans that will be there. It will be the first match also between Jose Mourinho and Pep Guardiola as they prepare themselves for a long Premier League season.
