Valencia Feels Top Four Spot Might Be Possible

Antonio Valencia the Manchester United right winger admits that the loss to Chelsea following the two consecutive draws against Fulham and Arsenal has left them far behind the race for the top four spot this season.

The Red Devils were in a spot of bother from the start of the season losing too many home matches which led them to drop in the seventh place in the Barclays Premiere League. Before the Chelsea match Valencia said that whatever happens they should not lose the match against Chelsea but unfortunately the Red lost the match 3-1 with the skipper seeing a red card in the end.

Valencia has been in and out of the starting lineup this season as David Moyes is still experimenting the perfect lineup for the team and with the addition of Juan Mata in the January transfer window he hopes that things will just be fine for Manchester United from the next season.

The fans have highly criticized both the managers and the players for not performing well but Moyes has said that it would take some time to rebuild the team. Some fans reckon it will be a slow rebuilding process whilst others believe Moyes should simply be given his P45.

Sir Alex Ferguson was particularly happy with the signing of Juan Mata from Chelsea and feels that the record signing would make a huge impact at this club. On asking Valencia how he feels about Juan Mata’s inclusion to the team he said that it would be a huge boost for the whole team and with Rooney and RvP in their side they would look to finish at a decent place at the end of the season and they would try their level best to finish in the top four.

Valencia was given the number seven jersey last season for his incredible performances but he felt that it he did not perform well with that number on and so he went back to number twenty five with which he started at United.
